ABOUT US

OUR STORY
In 2014, Eliza Winans Rossman brought the giving circle concept to her community, and Allinbklyn was born. We are a women's philanthropic initiative made up of members who are honored to partner with nonprofits that are doing important work in our borough. In Allinbklyn’s first year, 41 women shared their time, talent and resources, and together they granted $201,000 to 13 Brooklyn nonprofits, just months after their first meeting.

Over the past ten years, the women of Allinbklyn, along with a growing number of non-member supporters, have made more than $2.5m in grants to over 65 Brooklyn nonprofits, many of which have received multi-year grants. We have funded organizations providing services throughout the borough. The grants are directed at a variety of target populations and cover many sectors including youth, families, seniors, education, basic needs, justice reform, health & wellness, workforce development, the environment, the arts, and homelessness. We provide emergency grants when a need is identified. We consider these grantees our partners and are proud to support and celebrate their journeys.
