Allinbklyn is a women's giving circle supporting nonprofits that are improving lives and strengthening communities in Brooklyn, NY.  

We are 60 women who put our attention and resources toward addressing causes in Brooklyn that members really care about. We believe that diversity, equity and inclusion are central to our work. We raise approximately $300,000 a year which we then award as multi-year grants to selected nonprofits.

In the fall, members nominate nonprofits for consideration. Members review and discuss the nominations and conduct site visits to determine which will be awarded grants. Our work ends with a full membership vote in March. Grants are made soon after, and the awarded nonprofits become our Allinbklyn partners. In May, we hold an event to celebrate our new and returning grantee partners.  Allinbklyn does not consider unsolicited proposals.

Active membership on Allinbklyn committees, and participation in our social and educational events, is a great way to:

• Network, make new professional contacts and friends
• Learn more about trust-based philanthropy
• Get to know the Brooklyn nonprofit landscape

Members can choose active participation or less; all levels of involvement are welcome.

We manage our funds through Brooklyn.Org (formerly the Brooklyn Community Foundation), a 501(c)(3), making your donation tax-deductible.
